This farm with historic farmhouse is located in Massa Martana, in the central portion of Umbria that goes from Todi to Acquasparta, in a hilly and very panoramic position. The property of the farm includes, in addition to a large extension of land, also of the agricultural annexes of 200 square meters, recoverable for residential purposes, and a large farmhouse full of history. The complex fortitude of the farm dates back to 1200 and also included an ancient church dedicated to Sant’Angelo, from which descended a historical figure who participated in the expedition for the discovery of America and testimony of its existence is the inscription of a stone engraved on a wall of the farmhouse. The farmhouse is leaning against an ancient Umbrian temple of worship dedicated to Mars, consisting of large square blocks of travertine and limestone, which later became a fortress in defense of the underlying Via Flaminia. Today the base of the temple is clearly identifiable against the farmhouse. The farmhouse has a surface of 350 square meters.The farmhouse complex, entirely made of stone and to be restored, consists of several farmhouses of different dating and has a considerable historical and architectural value.
All around it, in an area of great naturalistic interest, the farm develops, consisting of a total of 14 ha of land, of which 7.82 ha of arable land; 4.52 ha of pasture, 0.72 ha of olive grove and 0.90 ha of forest.
